K.M.S. Driving School offers training in Light Rigid (LR), Medium Rigid (MR) and Heavy Rigid (HR) trucks throughout Brisbane with training areas at Archerfield, Stafford, Eagle Farm and Gumdale. We use Queensland Transport customer service centres at Wynnum, Cleveland, Greenslopes, Zillmere, Redcliffe and Strathpine
K.M.S. Driving School use Mitsubishi and Isuzu trucks with synchro and Roadranger (crash) gear boxes. We find that the average amount of lessons required to reach competency is four for MR and eight for HR.
K.M.S. Driving School's HR truck has an eight speed Roadranger gear box not an eighteen speed which other driving school's use. The eight speed box allows for faster training, saving you $$$$, but still allows the necessary experience in a Roadranger gear box. We also offer some students the opportunity to drive the HR tipper truck in a working application. This can be discussed with your instructor.
K.M.S. Driving School also offers car training (C) class licensing in dual control late model Protons and Kia’s with manual and automatic gearboxes. We teach cars on the north side of Brisbane and service suburbs such as Toowong, Indooropilly, The Gap, Paddington, Rosalie, Kelvin Grove, Alderley, Grange, Hamilton, Ascot, Clayfield, Toombul, Stafford, Nundah, Wavell Hts, Chermside, Zillmere, Boondall, Bracken Ridge, Brookside, Aspley, Keperra, Strathpine, Eatons Hill, to name a few, and use Queensland Transport customer service centres at Zillmere, Strathpine and Rosalie
