TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR KMS DRIVING SCHOOL

I Declare:

  • I have a current and valid driver’s licence.
  • I am not under suspension in Qld or any other state or territory.
  • I am aware I must have a 0.00% Blood Alcohol Content (BAC)
  • I do not have any physical or mental incapacity that may affect my driving.
  • I am not under the influence of any prohibited substances or illegal drugs, or any prescribed drugs that may affect my driving.
  • The above rules apply any time you are driving a Kms Driving School Vehicle.
  • You provide consent to Kms Driving School to disclose your licence details for the purpose of checking licence is legal, licence eligibility and booking a driving assessment with the following entities; Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Please inform us of any medical conditions, eg epilepsy, diabetes, sleep apnea or any vision or eye disorders, for which a medical certificate is required prior to commencing your driving lessons, as you will need to upgrade your medical certificate to include the License Class you are wishing to obtain. It is your responsibility to ensure your eligibility for the licence class you are applying for.

Cancellation Policy

  • I agree to give 24 hours’ notice prior to the cancellation of any training.
  • I agree to give 3 days’ notice (excluding weekends) prior to the cancellation of a Practical Driving Test, or a Licence in a Day Course (TMR require a min of 48 hours’ notice excl. weekends to process changes to a driving test)
  • Bookings not pre-paid are removed from our diary at close of business on the day prior.

Cancellation Charges

Failure to give 24 hours’ notice for any training (3 days for a Driving Test or a Licence in a Day Course) and “no shows” will incur a cancellation fee of full charges for the course or lessons booked including TMR booking fees for the practical driving test.

I accept responsibility for speeding offences, red light camera offences and seatbelt tickets or any other legal responsibility involved in driving a motor vehicle.

  • If TMR refuses to take out a driving test due to a medical issue, licence issues such as a suspension or that you are not able to present your licence the Test Booking and Fee for the lesson and test will be forfeited.

Prices and Charging

Kms Driving School reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

Prices of all Services are subject to change with or without notice.

Kms Driving School shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Repair / Damages /Cleaning

You shall be responsible for the cost of repair for damage to, or necessary cleaning of any third party providers, which includes but is not limited to our trucks and property resulting from use of the Services by you in excess of normal wear and tear damages and necessary cleaning. In the event that there is a need for Repair or Cleaning of our trucks, and such Repair or Cleaning request is verified by Kms Driving school in Kms Driving School’s reasonable discretion, Kms Driving School reserves the right to facilitate payment for the reasonable cost of such Repair or Cleaning using your designated payment method.
