About Us

My name is Ken Stanaway – I’m the proprietor of KMS Driving School.

I started training back in 1995 and during that time have seen a lot of changes throughout the industry, like the introduction of the current practical driving test Q SAFE. Naturally there have also been some changes in road rules such as the reduction of the speed limit in local built up areas from 60 to 50 km/h.

Changes in vehicle technology have also had an impact on training new drivers with driver trainers having to constantly change their techniques to align with such advances.

My goal as a driver trainer is to provide my students with a level of service no other driving school can offer. Our trucks are always clean and tidy and are kept at a very high level of service which means for you, our client, achieving your licence through KMS Driving School is a pleasurable experience.
